Dr. Jennifer Welter, PT,DPT,CERP,RVT
Dr. Welter is a licensed physical therapist specializing in physical therapy for equine athletes and their riders. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University and since that time has managed a successful human orthopedic and pediatric physical therapy practice. In 2005, Dr. Welter completed a post graduate certification in equine rehabilitation at the prestigious University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine. This program provided physical therapists and veterinarians with specialized training in equine specific rehabilitation. Jennifer is currently the only Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CERP) practicing in Northern California. In addition, Jennifer is a registered veterinary technician who spent many years working for the UC Davis VMTH as an equine veterinary nurse. Dr. Welter has completed extensive post graduate training and frequently attends conferences to update and expand her skills. She has continued her study of equine specific rehabilitation through study with a variety of leaders in the field.
